Video Review of the LifeSpan Fitness Desk

About two weeks ago, I wrote about a sweet new treadmill I was getting and how I was moving my work station from a chair to a treadmill desk.

I’ve been walking while working and/or catching up with friends online almost everyday for the past two weeks and loving it!

Instead of writing a review … I decided to try my hand at a video review. It’s my first video review, so be kind.

    Does it work as just a “regular” treadmill as well? IOW, could you dump the desk part and run on it?

    Gotta say, that is pretty tempting!

      It’s not made for running… it’s more about being solid/stable/quiet, so it can be used while typing/working. Its top speed is 4 mph… which (for me :) is a fast walk or a slow jog.

      I’ve found that when I need to concentrate on something like writing a ‘perfect’ email or comment… I like to walk around 1.5 miles per hour. But when I’m reading blogs and/or surfing the web/facebook/etc… then I can easily walk between 2 and 2.5 mph.

    And you did a great job with the video. I wouldn’t have guessed it was your first one. You put clips together, added titles, and even added some voiceover. Great job!
