Concerning the Penn State Situation…

Most of us only have the limited information the media is giving us about the situation at Penn State. If we knew all the information, who knows what our reaction would be.

The media is needed.
Too much media is overkill.
The media reports facts.
The media loves drama.
The media informs us.
The media exaggerates.
The media contains truth.
The media contains untruths.

Therefore today’s Sunday Sayings are about the media and its influence on all of us.

    Unfortunately I think in this case, what we don’t yet know is going to make this situation seem even worse.

    And yes,  I know that students held a vigil for the victims and have been raising money. But when you see pictures of students rioting because their coach was fired, crying over the loss of a football game…..it’s pretty gross.
