How to Manage 1,440 Minutes a Day
Time is an interesting thing.
We all have it. We all have the same amount. It’s one of the few elements of life where we all have an equal playing field all the time.
Exactly the same amount … no matter what you do in life. It’s intriguing to think about how various people do with their time …
A doctor in NYC
A hospital patient
A homeless person
A farmer in Kansas
A professional athlete
A lonely elderly person
A CEO of a large company
A parent with three toddlers
A writer who hasn’t published anything
A writer who has published 10 bestsellers
A writer who talks about writing, but rarely writes.
.It’s fascinating to think that everyone has the exact same amount of time each day — 24 hours. 1,440 minutes — but each person does vastly different things with their time. Recently I wrote a recipe for time, but I have yet to follow it.
What do I do with the 1,440 minutes I have each day?
.Sometimes I make good use of my time, but too often I am as inept as a politician solving a debt crisis.
As I thought about time, I realized that I have learned a few things about managing time from running, both my failures and successes. Today I share what I’ve learned in a guest post at a blogging friend, Andi’s site. I cover these points … Be realistic. Be willing to learn. Be dedicated. Be focused. Head over to Andi lit to read …
