Obvious to you. Amazing to others. – by Derek Sivers

It’s so nice to know that I am not alone about what I create.

I can be my own worst critic … but now when I criticize myself, I will remember this adorable little person and I will continue to do my work.

What are you holding back?

I love this!  So true!  Of course, this comment is obvious to me…

I’m telling you, this video was so good!

As I’m working on my book proposal, I’m stressed because when it comes to the “what makes you qualified to write this” part, I’ve got nothing. I have no training in marriage or any counseling. I’ve been writing for a while and I’ve finally got to the place where I think I can tell a story okay, but I didn’t study journalism or editing or one of those things that gives you cred. I’m just someone who is living in this marriage who writes a blog. Trying to pass that off as any kind of authority or qualification is really tough for me.

This was a great reminder to me that while I may not have the qualifications that I’d like, my perspective is still unique and not without merit.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! It goes along with my very own (what I use to think was obvious but when I tell others they think, “how did you come up with that?” LOL): That which comes easily to me is valuable to others! And you can quote me :-)
