Thankful Thursday – Post 9

Thanksgiving might be over, but I want to always live with a thankful attitude, so here’s another Thankful Thursday post.
I’m thankful for …
— A great 5-mile race on Sunday — A fun Christmas party with friends — Sponsors for some of these wonderful kids. I’m involved with Living Love Ministries, which recently opened a children’s home in Kenya. The home is founded and directed by Kenyan Natives, Solomon and Eunice, who I had the honor of having over for dinner a few years ago. They survived my meal and went home to Kenya and began taking steps to fulfill a dream of opening a home for vulnerable children. They are taking care of 15 children now. — A great post by Randy Elrod about running – which I shared with all my running friends (and others that don’t run, but should) — A speaking event today … that I think went well, but I’ll have to wait and see what the reviews say. (yea, that’s not going to happen, but my mom said I did great!)
